Our collaboration helped provide kit and equipment to cricket-loving kids in Barbados during the T20 World Cup
Think 'Wingstop' and you immediately think of fresh, tasty chicken. Think a little harder and you can imagine sharing those wings with friends and family.
Those social food experiences are at the heart of what Wingstop does. But you may not know so much about their commitment to community and corporate social responsibility.
Wingstop's community values dovetail perfectly with our own, and those values were at the heart of yet another successful partnership for Jet Media Network this year.
On location in Barbados during the T20 Cricket World Cup, we collaborated with Wingstop as they delivered much-needed help to grassroots communities on the Caribbean island.
Cricket is historically THE sport of the West Indies, but many youngsters do not have access to the facilities they need to be able to practise the game they love.
So we arranged a training session at the famous Empire Cricket Club in Barbados, and Wingstop supplied kit and equipment for kids ranging from four to 18 years old.
They enjoyed a fun session with local coaches, taking part in batting, bowling and fielding drills and following in the footsteps of more than 20 West Indies internationals who learnt their trade at Empire - including the legendary Sir Frank Worrell.
We told the story of our Wingstop collaboration via a number of video edits which were published across our channels and also featured on our T20 Daily Show, filmed in Barbados throughout the Super Eight phase of the World Cup.
It was a joyous, uplifting experience to be a part of, and it goes down as one of our highlights from a successful 2024.
